Program Details
Air Alert does not use any weight training for its program. You simply need a pair of basketball shoes and a chair or stool. The exercises are laid out clearly in the training manual and videos showing the proper way to do the exercises are included on the DVD.
The theme of the program is Habitual Jump Training™ that will supposedly help you lock-in the jump memory into your muscles so you can continue to jump high unconsciously or instinctually. Because no weights are used, each exercise simulates real-world jumping. There are a variety of exercises that keep the program fresh. Well, at least for the first few weeks. After that, you are stuck doing the same exercises over and over again.
While you can gain inches using this method, I would prefer to vary my exercises – and even incorporate some strength training. If you are on a super-tight budget, this may work for you. But beware; you sometimes get what you pay for.
